The award celebrates organisations that champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the UK aviation sector. This award recognises initiatives that promote equal opportunities, foster an inclusive workplace culture, and support underrepresented groups in aviation. Judges will assess entries based on tangible DEI strategies, measurable impact, and innovative programmes that drive meaningful change in recruitment, leadership, training, and industry representation. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: Demonstrate policies and initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Leadership & Advocacy: Showcase leadership efforts in advancing DEI within the organisation and the wider industry.
  • Workplace Culture & Employee Engagement: Highlight programmes that foster inclusivity, support employee well-being, and encourage diverse talent.
  • Impact & Measurable Outcomes: Provide evidence of progress in representation, retention, and career development for underrepresented groups.
  • Industry Collaboration: Demonstrate partnerships or initiatives aimed at improving diversity across the aviation sector.
